Charming the Prince Once Upon a Time Teresa Medeiros 9780553575026 Books Reviews
This is my first Teresa Medeiros book and my first Medieval Time romance book. I usually read other historical romance novels. I am hooked on these books. The story about Willow and Lord Banner is so romantic and so funny. It is a laugh out loud, at times want to cry book, it is also very romantic and sexy. Caliente scenes in the book yet not vulgar. Not to mention alot of us will relate to their experiences. I will not go into details about the book because of my busy schedule but I will say this, I definitely reccommend this book; it is so entertaining and heart warming. I already purchased six other Teresa Medeiros books and I can not wait to start reading the next one.
This fairy tale like book took me though a garment of emotions pang of tears, laughing, chuckling, worry & anger. I eagerly turned pagers especially when the new timid wife & children waged a terrorist war against a neglectful husband/father.
Love the writing style and will seek more of her merry tales. Though Medieval in it's setting not recommended for a history buff.
I liked reading 'Charming the Prince'. I read it straight threw and will look to read other books from this author. The reason I didnt give the book five stars was toward the end it became a little unbelievable. For example, Spoiler, he finds out she's been kidnaped and doesnt leave right away. I felt there was too much discussion going on and not enough action. He then doesn't take his men to help look in a search but he allows his children( oldest one is 13) to come along and help search. I also like reading books were hero's are more alphas and gruff. Where as this hero was not, but that's just a peronsal opinion. All in all, I like reading the book it was light and funny and worth the buy.
THis is my first book by Teresa Medeiros. I was very surprised, but in a good way. I have no idea why I had never before read her work. Medeiros has a nice style and a talent for writing out characters and describing things page after page that leaves you feeling as if you were a character in the setting she provides. Charming the prince was a story set in England, in the late middle ages , the 1300's. this is a bit earlier from my Regency usual read. However it was no less appealing and entertaining. Both main characters were greatly portrayed and enjoying. It had many laugh out loud moments and times when I half wanted to wring someone's neck. It was a very nice surprise. I plan on definitely giving a try to Medeiros other books.
Awesome the writer puts all of her heart and soul in the this book and you can feel it when you read this book this book had me laughing until I was crying I was down and I don't and it sure pick me up
I love the humor in Teresa Medeiros’ books and this is probably my favorite. The best thing about her books isn’t any attempt at real historical accuracy but the character development that’s too often missing in any romance novel. This isn’t about gratuitous sex, either, just a lovely romance.
